This delicious seasonal vegetable becomes sweet and nutty when browned.
For the best flavor and texture, make the dish just before serving.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Arizona Valencia Orange Olive Oil plus more for brushing
- 2 small oranges halved & sliced
- 3 to 4 strips thick-cut bacon cut into 1/4 inch pieces
- 1 1/2 lbs brussels sprouts trimmed & halved
- 2 tbsp Traditional Style Balsamic Reduction
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions
- First prep your oranges & bacon. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Brush a rimmed baking sheet generously with oil.
- Add oranges, in a single layer, turning to coat. Season with sea salt and drizzle with 1 tbsp of Arizona Valencia Orange Oil then roast for 15 minutes.
- Add bacon and roast until crisp, about 12 minutes.
- Toss Brussels sprouts with remaining olive oil and add the balsamic reduction; season generously with sea salt and pepper.
- Add to baking sheet; toss to combine.
- Roast covered for 20 minutes, tossing once, until sprouts are tender and browning at edges and oranges are deeply caramelized. Roast for an additional 10 mins uncovered. Finish with a drizzle of Traditional Style Balsamic Reduction!
