Cranberry Balsamic Glazed Brussels Sprouts
Not every dish needs to be time-consuming and complicated this Thanksgiving.
Take these Brussels Sprouts, for instance.
Not only will the impress EVERYONE sitting at your table this year, they're a breeze to make - requiring only six ingredients and taking 20 minutes tops. (Video at bottom of page)
The secret ingredient in this recipe is the Cranberry White Balsamic Reduction which is added at the very end to coat and "glaze" the caramelized, nutty Brussels. The Cranberry lends a sweet but tart flavor that completes the tasty side.
These Brussels Sprouts have made an appearance at our Thanksgiving for a few years now, it's turned into a family tradition!
Cranberry Balsamic Glazed Brussels Sprouts
Serves 4
What You'll Need
- 1/4 cup Queen Creek Olive Mill Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 pints Brussels sprouts (2 pounds total), trimmed and halved
- Kosher salt
- Fresh ground pepper
- 1/3 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup Queen Creek Olive Mill Cranberry White Balsamic Reduction
The Method
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high.
Add Brussels sprouts, generously season with salt and pepper, and cook, stirring frequently, until caramelized, 8 to 10 minutes.
Add wine and cook until evaporated, about 2 more minutes.
Add Cranberry balsamic and toss to coat and cook for an additional1-2 minutes.
