GARLIC IS POWERFUL, PEOPLE! Whether the world is ready to embrace it or not, garlic is, and has always been one of the most beneficial foods we can put into our bodies. For centuries, people all around the world have been using garlic as, not only a flavorful ingredient, but also for it's preventative health benefits. It's a pillar of the Mediterranean diet along side extra virgin olive oil. It's time we start taking full advantage of this incredibly delicious delicacy, not only for the sake of our mouths, but our entire bodies.
We are very proud of our organic garlic garden here at the Queen Creek Olive Mill. Besides EVOO, garlic is the second most used ingredient in our kitchen arsenal. This year, we were able to plant, grow and harvest around 300lbs. of this superfood and celebrated it at our annual Garlic Fest!
